AC Hotel by Marriott Phoenix Downtown

The hotel was well put together in a good location to the music venue and the room was spacious and comfortable, very modern. The breakfast was okay, it was a little bit confusing not much directionality or assistance with information on how to go about the breakfast area. There was a gentleman running breakfast from what we saw he was alone except maybe someone in back trying to help with prep or cooking of items, he did try to help us better understand and offered to make us something from the specialty menu available we didn't know if that was an inclusion on our reservation or not so we politely declined and went about the area finding other items such as french pastries, frittatas, fruit and specialty juices and honey for tea and bagels the coffee was empty and most of the juices, a lot of the pastries were dry and kind of stale. We ended up sitting in a more secluded side of the dining area after getting our food so we could enjoy our breakfast just the 2 of us and then it was mentioned we had sat at a table the staff usually keeps open for businessman and women to do their morning meetings no signs anywhwre and noone around to guide us so it seemed totally open to us, and then they said but thats okay though.... and walked away. This kind of made us feel a little unwelcome thats when they brought a bill over and showed it would be an added expense for breakfast, however I had it prepaid on my booking so that made even more unwelcome feeling and also had me worried I might have been double charged or something because noone clarified even though we had the breakfast ticket for 2 given to us at time of checkin.

Clean room, staff were great. Only issue was the bathroom door wouldn't close all the way.

Charged for early checkout. No exception. 😩

We stayed here for a concert downtown. The location was great and very convenient. It seemed the restaurant was under staffed both at night at the bar and for morning breakfast. Rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

Front Desk people were warm and friendly on every interaction. They were easy to approach and very helpful. Makes a big impact how a person is received, checked in and responded to. We requested some extra towels and the man who brought them up was very kind and sweet. Liked the gym. Well stocked with cold water, towels and clean. We loved the breakfast offerings, especially the espresso machine and coffee. Looked like a great set up if we hadn't already had scheduled meetings. We enjoyed sitting out on the back patio, even though it's warmer, the trees and shade were relaxing and peaceful. I didn't care for housekeeping coming into our room unannounced. We were about to leave at 10 to 10:AM but still gathering our things. Felt a bit pushy. The gentleman who was servicing the breakfast area was very busy...harried. He briefly asked if we were having breakfast but he was not warm or receptive, which may have been he was just too busy. Felt a bit awkward. Parking is in the next building from the hotel and separate, without a breezeway but since it's further down on a one way street, you also have to drive clear around the block to go to the front of the hotel when picking up people or items. The hotel staff are very generous to allow for short/quick car stops, which was appreciated but just something to note for those driving a vehicle and coordinating.

Very nice people, location is good. Very easy to Uber around, I love cold stone ice cream.

How quiet it was no A/C waking you up at night. The charge for breakfast $20.00/person. We did not have breakfast at the hotel.

The staff was fabulous. (The front desk and the bartenders.)

The location was close to the airport. We liked being able to sit out in the lounge area. The hotel overall was really nice. Our room floor could have been cleaned a little better we seen dirt spots on the floor.
