Best Western Plus Renton Inn

There are areas that the hotels is showing its age and its location, while conveniently off the highway, is walkable to exactly one place; the restaurant down the hill sharing the same street. That said, the room was clean. The property felt safe. Parking was free. The breakfast was incredible, especially in comparison to a lot of other hotel breakfasts I have had, and is kept clean and well stocked. Amenities are limited aside from the breakfast, but I didn't come to the hotel to swim or hang out in the hot tub. For the price, highly recommend.

The hotel was clean and quiet and the breakfast was plentiful! I didn't enjoy having to do all the registration info myself on the computer. That is what the staff are there for, in my opinion.

Disappointing

Breakfast was filling and delicious, room was clean and bed was clean and comfortable, Water could've been hotter. I enjoy hot showers.

Passable

I checked in around 10 PM and immediately found that the curtain was completely broken and could not be closed, meaning anyone outside could clearly see into the room. I called the front desk about five times with no answer, so I had to go downstairs. The employee repeatedly told me, “There is nothing I can do.” No room change, no repair, no solution. When I asked to cancel because the room could not provide basic privacy, he still insisted on charging me for the first night simply because I had checked in. His attitude was even worse than the room problem. He ignored us while our issue was unresolved, served other guests, refused to get a manager, and finally said, “I’m leaving,” put on his backpack, and walked out of the hotel, leaving several groups of guests with an unattended front desk. At 11:23 PM, we had no choice but to call the police. Only after the police arrived and another employee appeared were we finally able to cancel the reservation. By then it was around midnight, and we still had to find another hotel. A broken curtain is a maintenance issue. Refusing to help guests, trying to charge them for an unusable room, and abandoning the front desk is a serious service failure. No guest should ever have to call the police just to complete a hotel cancellation. Absolutely disgraceful and unacceptable.

Staff was helpful and friendly. Breakfast was very good with a wide variety of food. Very reasonable price.

Updated and clean. Breakfast was well stocked, clean and tasty. Staff was super nice at breakfast as well.

The room was terrible. The window seems to be open with all the street sounds coming right into the room but I made sure it was closed entirely and the nose still came into the room in interrupted. The window cladding was falling apart. The shower head was terrible and awkwardly located as a hand held shower head. The noise level was so bad we could not sleep. We booked here to get a good night sleep and we got anything but that. Coffee and breakfast was good.

It was a pleasant stay. Nothing outstanding but comfortable and clean.

The room was clean for sure. The bed was way to soft for my liking, it was like laying in a VERY THICK feather pillow. The toilet seat was about ready to fall of on the floor. Other than that, it was nice.
