However, they would not refund us for the room change, the lady at checkin was extremely rude and condescending. We were then informed that the pool was "closed by the health department", no compensation for that either. The water randomly stopped working while in the shower, had no way to rinse out shampoo, was told a plumber was there working, yet they for whatever reason couldn't send out a warning ahead of time that a plumber was coming and the water would be shut off, nothing for that either. Then we turned on the AC, immediately smelled like weed smoke coming out of it, which they also did nothing about. Supposedly a manager should be getting in contact today, but for some reason I doubt that will happen as well. Would not recommend staying here, will be reaching out to my bank to get a refund if I do not hear anything.

Really old rooms

The whirlpool was Luke warm, it wasn't terrible, just not a hot tub. Breakfast was good, people behind the desk helpful. My one complaint was a lady that apparently worked there had to comment on me filling my water bottle at the juice machine. Instead of just having her employee? Just clean it after. I was nice enough to pick up her napkin for her earlier, not knowing she worked there, while she made 3 coffees and I waited patiently for her to move so I could get some hot water for my oatmeal. I walked up to the machine and she felt she had to give me a science come tart on micro biology and germs. It was rude and uncalled for. It put a negative experience on the place. The room was nice, areas clean, pool clean etc..

Only stayed for one night but staff was helpful and the room was very clean. Pillows super soft and when we slightly overslept they were nice about it:).

Exceptional

no room is perfect, but the manager and staff went above and beyond to rectify and accommodate our issues. Problems happen, how they’re responded to, separate to the good and best hotels.

The breakfast was the only thing less than excellent

The sheets, comforter, pillow cases, bathtub, everything was dirty! The room smelled mildewed. I couldn’t even bring myself to sleep underneath the covers. Will never go back.

Non accommodating

Great location near the highway with restaurant options nearby. Quiet and comfortable.

The first room we were placed was not clean, bathroom was disgusting, sheets were stained, surfaces had dried food on them, room smelled awful, carpets throughoutbuilding needed to be vacuumed and dust ruffles on the beds were also dirty.

Hot tub and pool were not clean, water was cloudy. Room needed proper vacuuming.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Very nice and let us know what was included and answered questions on where we could go for dinner. It was a bit dated and there was a strong chlorine smell in the lobby.

The room I had smelt horrible--someone or many had smoked something in it. When I told them-they came sprayed it with a room air freshner -did nothing except give me a worse headache. The mirror in the bathroom had not been cleaned in a long time. The rug where you check in was filthy dirty.

Curb appeal was fine. That was the best part of the hotel. The hotel was old outdated the room we went into, had black mold and was smelly like mildew.

This was not as nice as some other Country Inn's that I have stayed at, but overall it was adequate.
