Hampton Inn & Suites San Antonio-Airport

Do not stay here! I had 2 days of no hot water, the staff was not able to remedy the problem after telling me they had. Staff did not have a clue about what was going on. And Hotels.com was not able to get me a refund on the room. This was a nightmare, and I had just had surgery. Pick any of the locations near the airport other than this one.

No hot water and the entire hotel smelled like trash.

The first room I got the ac leaked all over the carpet so they moved me to a suite. I just have the worst luck at any hampton inn i stay at. Over all this ine was a nice property.

Just stayed overnight for a very early flight. Great location at the airport, nice and quiet, and staff was quick and professional.

My experience was just ok. Breakfast was good. The area was clean. The hotel was outdated. There are soft spots in the floor in the room and bathroom. There were signs that renovations were coming and that was a great thing. We didn’t have hot water for an entire day. They knew it was an issue but didn’t say anything. Having to take a cold shower was not a great experience. Hot water was restore the morning we left.

The hotel clerk when checking in was not friendly no customer service a little rude and snobby.

The employees acted like you were interrupting them if you asked a question. They made me pay an additional $50.00 for incident deposit, I think is what they called it. The lady at the front desk said I would get it back Sunday when I check out. A week later and I still haven't received it. I doubt if I go back to that hotel. Also the dining room was so hot that you were soaked from sweating before you finished eating.

All the receptionists were great. They did excellent job.

The staff was very friendly and the hotel clean. For being at the airport, it was quiet so we had a great night sleep.

lately we have been enamored with Hampton Inn, but not this one! A sign in the lobby said 'Exciting News, we are going to have a renovation. For anyone staying there now, that is not exciting news! A staff member said there was no sign of when that actually might happen. I woke up in the middle of the night to the sound of 'tick.........tick........tick.......' and finally found it was coming from water dripping from the ceiling!. The breakfast was not up too the level I have grown accustomed to. When we asked about using the pool, they said wouldn't be ready before 11:30 or so, and checkout is at noon, so basically, unavailable...

Staff was great, hotel needs a renovation and sofa sleeper needs to be cleaned up, change of furniture, is dated

The entire hotel is dirty and smells. The linens smelled as if they have been stored in a dusty closet. The tub was stained brown. I was really disappointed with the cleanliness. The staff was very nice and everyone was helpful and welcoming. The breakfast was also better than expected. If the hotel could just get a good deep clean and then be maintained from there it would be fine. Also all the linens need a good deep wash or it’s time for new ones and to do a better job washing them.

The room we booked the A/C was blowing hot and leaking water, was told to shut it off for a while then turn it back on, we had an infant and pregnant wife, we got moved to a 1 bed and fold out from a 2 bed end of the hall room, no cribs no extra pillows. Getting credit back was a chore I expected Hampton Inn to be better the hotel was not well maintained was disappointed.
