Aloft by Marriott Santa Clara

Would have rated it a five if the toilet worked when we arrived. Maintenance did come pretty quickly to fix it though. Other than that it was a pleasant stay with a great shower and good quality bath products.

Easy

The little bar area was great and the food was fairly good surprisingly. The breakfast wasn’t free but the O.G b- sandwich hit the spot. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Only negative were the (lots) very small ants in the room by the window that went offer my coffee.

Walking distance from Levi’s Stadium

I was in town for the 49ers game; the location was walkable to the stadium and within close proximity to the stadium. I was able to travel to San Francisco easily (I am from southern California, so the drive and traffic is something I am accustom too) for the Dodgers/Giants game and to walk around the piers. Great geographic location for me. Was not a fan of being charged for parking on a daily rate, when I had a reservation at the hotel for 4-nights. I was in and out every day, so I did not get to speak with the front desk about how to get validation, it was never explained to me on the website when I paid for parking, or in any information that was easily located.

Clean room, nice checkout time of 12pm, stayed 3 nights, no issues with room keys or anything else. Staff is busy yet friendly.

The staff seemed overwhelmed. They didn't immediately great us and seemed annoyed when we asked questions.

Everything was great.

Exceptional

We stayed here to attend a football game. Levi's Stadium was only a 30 min walk. Enjoyed our stay here, would definitely book again.

The ice machines on two of the floors were broken, so we had to go searching for one that was working on the 4th floor, which was inconvenient. Then the machine was at the complete opposite end of the floor, it would have been more convenient to be centered closer to the elevators. One other thing that would have been a huge plus would be a shuttle service to Levi’s Stadium, especially for guests staying at the hotel for events there. Overall, the hotel has room for improvement in a few areas.

Walking distance to stadium and roads leading everywhere

Clean room, friendly staff. What I didn't like was the minimal parking. We had to park on the street both nights we stayed there.

The place and people were great. Woke up covered in ants BUT they helped me out a lot considering my situation and I'm greatful for that.

Hotel was perfect to stay at during a game day weekend. It is walkable from Levi's stadium (about 20 min walk) and check-in/check-out process was super quick. They cleaned the rooms daily and have fun stuff to do in the bar/game area.

Upon checking out, the front desk folks charged me twice for one room which had been prepaid and overcharged the second room by $200.00. The front desk personnel didn't know how to correct the issue and I had to call back while waiting at the airport in Phoenix.

We had a great stay at the hotel. It was conveniently situated for our trip. The only thing that surprised me (as it has never happened at any other hotel I've ever stayed at) is that my dried mango snack package was attacked by ants. We were on the third floor. It happened quick (within a couple of hours). I had seen no trace of any other bugs or insects on the premises. But I guess those little critters will smell the yummy food anywhere.
