The hotel and its staff are brilliant Booking.com’s service is disappointing. You overbooked the room I booked which resulted in me given a smaller room. The Baroness hotel has given you $160 as my compensation abd 3 weeks later today I have still not received my money on my credit card. I will recommend the hotel, but not Booking.com

Directly across from the hospital was the only reason we stayed there. The second night the toilet would not stop flushing. Despite calls to the front desk, nothing was done about it causing sleep to be all but impossible. Also, the tube emptied very slowly and was filthy. Also, not worth $230 per night.

I didn’t have a hotel breakfast but found the local bodega was handy and had what I wanted. Location was great and appreciated having the handy parking.

No hand soap in the bathroom nor in the kitchen.

Paid for parking and someone in our stall. No other open spaces and parked in a reserved stall.

I loved the location, the room was clean and the bed very cozy. The feel of the old building amazing. I loved everything

The room was clean and air conditioned. The proximity to the downtown core and other sights like Capitol Hill and Chinatown was great for walking, however mostly because there is no designated parking you have to take transit or scooters/bikes or walk because it’s really expensive to come and go in a car with no in out privileges for the lot…

Sweet little place conveniently located. Highly recommend. Especially for a solo traveler like myself.

Cute. Vintage. The bathroom was small but everything worked fine. There was a portable air conditioner in the room which was nice to have when the weather was muggy. Staff were friendly. The location was nice and quiet. Within walking distance to QFC, the paramount theatre, and the Seattle library. And I believe the bus took you right to pike’s market place.

Love the antique feel if this girl!!

They charge 25 bucks a day for parking, the hotel is filthy, there are 4 lamps for 3 rooms so its super dark and none of the main light work. There were gross stains all over the place. We only booked this hotel due to it saying parking was included and not listing parking charges but they do charge! Due to the filthy nature of the hotel attempted to cancel before we even checked in and they refused. The hotel really is disgusting. We went to a hotel by the airport with free parking, super clean, free breakfast for half the price! This was a nightmare experience.

The hotel was very charming. It has a lot of personality. The sheets feel crisp and clean, the towels are fluffy, and the provided soaps, shampoo and conditioner are great quality. There's a full kitchen, minus stoves for safety apparently.

Overpriced shabby chic. Was dishonest about the availability of rooms when we arrived around 2:30 PM (we could see the availability on the website). I’m a middle aged woman and the front desk guy was early 20s. I asked for a quieter room. No help. So I asked my husband to negotiate and voila! They found us a better room! For which we were grateful. No problems after that.

No front desk - had to go across the street to check in. Rather dull, unhelpful young man at that desk. The room was old and dingy - BUT a comfortable bed.
-
The hotel is old and rundown.
