Felt like I was an inconvenience to the staff. They all want a tip for next to no help.

Loved this cute pet friendly hotel. The staff is so friendly and went out the way to open the door and greet me even during late hours. Nice clean smell, nice bathrobes and plenty of space. Restaurant food could have been better. No microwaves in rooms,

With no on-site parking (other than valet), we had to pay an additional $40 just to park overnight. The beautiful lobby and helpful receptionist gave me high hopes for the room, (They even gave us freshly made cookies!) but we were sorely disappointed. We held the key card up to the door, and it flashed green as normal. But the door wouldn't open. My husband wiggled the handle and finally was able to open the door. After we inspected it, it appeared that the privacy lock was stuck, and someone else had just forced the door open. The door jam was splintered like it had been broken into. The next morning, we also discovered that the physician safety lock was also useless. The bathroom door was similar. The latch was installed incorrectly, so it wouldnt close properly. If you could get it to close, it refused to stay latched. The room was much smaller than the pictures alluded to, but that was the least of my concerns. The heavy mirrors were precariously hung on the walls in such a way that a gentle breeze, or errant bump from a suitcase or elbow could have easily knocked them to the ground and shattered them. There was also hair in the shower and the comforter before we used either one, and the TV was already on when we got there. We planned to stay 2 nights, but checked out early. The woman at the front desk assured us she was very sorry to hear our troubles and assured us that they'd wave the "early check-out" fee as a result.

Room was OK. Parking was a bit of a headache. Marijuana use in another room caused it to smell in my bathroom due to questionable ventilation (eg lack of a true bathroom fan). Not amazing.

The mini fridge didn’t have a little freezer

Nice rooms, great location Nothing

The staff was very helpful and the room was spotless.

The bed was comfortable. The lobby was really beautiful. The clerk that checked me was very pleasant. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

After we checked in, we got to the room and found out the AC was broken, the only accommodation was one small box fan for our room. It was 79° in our room on Sunday before we checked out. This was clearly out of the staff’s control, but it made our stay horrible. Staff overall was nice, but it’s hard to enjoy a vacation given the circumstances and temperature of our room
-
Bathroom sink was clogged when I arrived. Maintenance fixed it promptly. AC did not work during my 2 night stay. Received small box fan the second night. Room temp sat at 78.
-
banging around 6:30am. The front desk will not tell you. It is a surprise.

Amazing customer service and great room
-
There was no heat at all in the building. The temperature in the room was 80 degrees for my whole stay and there was hair in bathroom tub
-
The room was not properly cleaned and the air didn’t work at the hotel so it was extremely hot and I was unable to stay for my visit
-
The hotel show signs of being rundown and if it weren't for the air conditioning, it would have been a decent stay. I won't stay there again.
-
only 1 elevator worked and no ac during our stay and the hotel did nothing to compensate us for the inconvenience nor did they let us know prior to checking in
-
I will not stay at this property again

I was excited to stay at the Magnolia Hotel. It came highly recommended and was one of Expedia's top choices. Let's get into it, check in was at 4, I didn't arrive until 5 only to be told that my room was not ready and they couldn't give me a time of when it would be ready. I asked the front desk attendant why I didn't receive a phone call and she sarcastically said, "everyone wants to know that, it would have been nice". I was attending a play at the Stifel Theater so I had to travel 30 minutes back to my house, get dressed, and then drive back downtown. I finally checked in at 10 p.m. only to find out from one of the guest staying at the hotel that only one elevator worked and the air conditioner in the entire hotel was not working (keep in mind it was 95 degrees Fahrenheit that day). I arrived to a room half cleaned, a broken toliet, I clogged sink drain and a room so hot that it felt like I was still outside. Tried calling the front desk to address my concerns and the phone ringed for 5 minutes straight. Horrible experience and I would like to be refunded my money and time spent at this establishment.
