La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Chicago Tinley Park

The property itself looks older. For the most part it was pretty clean. We had to get our keys programmed 5 times. They still use the keys that get erased by your phone, if it gets close. The 5th time we had to get our keys reprogrammed was because the front desk person programmed them for the wrong room. Unfortunately it was late at night, we were dead tired, and we were at the end of the 4th floor. Location was convenient for the concert we went to. Breakfast was waffles, cereal, muffins and juice. We ate out. One side of the parking lot is unlit, kind of creepy at night. I think the pool was closed; but we hadn’t planned to use it anyway. I would stay again. Front desk people were nice.

Had to check out at 4am because the room was infested with roaches. My girlfriend woke up startled when one crawled down her arm while we were asleep. Reached out to the property to speak with the manager kept being told that they’ll have him/her call me. I still haven’t heard anything back.

I like the room overall, I was very comfortable. The sink was clogged in the room I was staying in.

Location was convenient, shops/restaurants within walking distance. Bed was comfortable, bathroom was small with sink/vanity outside of shower. Parking was adequate. It seems that the hotel hosts 'longer term' guests that are living there. Some of the residents and activities observed there were troubling. A half naked woman appeared to be making a drug purchase outside the lobby, one person stood by the elevator very stoned for over an hour. Another was seen walking around with an 'ankle monitor'. The feeling was this was both a hotel for guests, but also a temporary housing solution. Price was rather steep at $220 per night.

Check in was quick and easy. Staff was very nice. Beds were comfy. Loved the location!

I found a roach in my room, left and only refunded one day. Reading posts this is a frequent problem

Close to my destination Looked run down. Very disappointed., especially for the amount of money I paid for the one night I stayed. Would not recommend to anyone.

Good place to stay when we go to an event at the Amphitheater. I always ask for a room in the non smoking/no pets area.

Room was clean, the HVAC unit was a little noisy but tolerable. Staff was helpful, professional. Tight parking.

Location Hotel need updates

Stayed over a week, and the room was never cleaned for 3 days nor were any amenities provided until I specifically asked. Even then, I had to go down to the front desk myself because the staff said no one was available to bring them to my room. The cleanliness issues are serious. I found ants inside the coffee machine and around the surrounding area. I almost never leave feedback or revies, but this time I felt I had to. You should avoid this hotel until there is significant improvement.

I like to work out on the road and this was the worst I've seen in a while with 3 cardio apparatus only. Free breakfast is tough for these operations but this was bare minimum with the only protein offered was hard boiled eggs{?} which was a 1st for me.

Carpet and floor in common areas was dirty. Cleaning solution had a very strong smell.
