In reality it's an older property but images online look very attractive and show panoramic view of the room. No major issues. But I booked a room with full kitchen but that was not available when i reached there, so I was given a room with a microwave and a small fridge.

I was reluctant to try another Best Western after a very unpleasant stay several weeks at a DIFFERENT Best Western near University of Richmond. I am THRILLED that I took the wager because this location is far SUPERIOR. The building is spotless sunny and pleasant and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Like go the extra step to be helpful and friendly. The rooms also pleasant and spacious but most importantly clean. Great Price and pet friendly also (although I did not travel w/ pets this trip) My daughter attends Richmond and this will be 1st choice for lodging when I return.

bed, temp and breakfast Fire Alarm went off at 10pm followed by alarm at 5am. Both times we were in bed, had to get dressed and go outside for half hour

Did not like much of anything. The fire alarm went off 2 times during the night and there were ants in the breakfast area

The room was tidy and the bathroom clean. The staff was nice. The room had a musty smell when we walked into it. Not good.
