Loved our stay!!

Perfect location. Safe area. Ample parking.

The staff was knowledgeable about the property. I was close to Mt. Rushmore and a drive away to Crazy Horse. The small town was awesome. There was not enough parking for the property. Since I carry tools with me . Right from arrival, they told me no breakfast, and not enough staff to clean my room. If i needed towels or amenities to go to the office and ask for extras. There was no internet and I could not get my work done while visiting this place. I had to go into a coffee shop. The view of Mt. Rushmore was visible but still very distant. It was not as close as the website states or photos show. It was a quiet place. after 10:00pm the town shuts down. The A/C was a bit noisy too.

The staff was very helpful & friendly. Wish they offered breakfast

Room wasn’t clean, 1 bedspread was wrinkled & pillows were not as they should be. AC unit was noisy & was installed above the mirror by the bathroom sink. Didn’t feel it was very clean at all.

We rented the rooms thru Hotels.com. When we arrived, we had our 12 week old pup with us, which is an emotional support animal for our child. We were told there was no way to have the animal with us. The hotel was already paid for thru Hotels so we lost our funds. Very disappointed.

The AC was too loud

Clean Room
-
Old hotel but very clean and no smell, very good and price was acceptable compared to other, I would recommend this one budget friendly.
-
Friendly staff. A basic motel for a good price.
-
Overall, the room felt dated and not as clean and comfortable as I expected. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t stay here again.

Easy check in, smooth check out, wonderful beds!

They didn't have a breakfast. Only coffee. I don't drink it.

Great location for easy access to Mount Rushmore. You can see Mount Rushmore from the property. Cute town to walk around with great small town restaurants. Friendly people. Great value!

The floor in the room made our white socks turn black so we had to keep our shoes on all the time. The staff was friendly and helpful except for the night person that we checked in with. The air conditioner was loud and the toilet had trouble flushing even after being checked. The view of Mt. Rushmore was spectacular.

The hotel was clean but I wish it were updated. The whole area seemed like everything was original or from the 60s. I understand keeping historical integrity but things should updated. Restaurants and stores were within walking distance which was nice.
