Small parking area but hotel was nice. Clean room.

Nice room and good breakfast. The driveway up to the second floor parking is a little scary, but we made it. My only complaint would be the location of the pool. The kids were playing in the pool and one of the guest staying across from the pool came out and yelled at the kids for being too loud. It really is in a bad location. Definitely would stay here again. The location was great for our travels in the area.

While the property was a comfortable stay, there were a few things that I wasn’t a fan of like the wasps in my room and the breakfast bar area, or the steep driveway that let only one car in and out. Wasn’t safe and I dreaded going in and out when parking. The breakfast bar was okay. Standard hotel fair but the coffee was watery. Keystone is a really great location for everything in the Black Hills area. I wouldn’t return to this hotel, but the room I stayed in was very quiet. Overall it was pleasant enough, just an aging and quirky property. Isn’t open during the off season.

For a quick weekend trip, close from Custer State park, it was good .

The Hotel lobby was clean and it smelled good, but room 223 had a terrible smell, like damp bad odor.
-
Parking was terrible. Bathroom small. Carpet needed cleaning . Staff was great. Location was close to downtown.
-
Icemacjine broken. Nice breakfast.

Our room was not cleaned once the entire week we were there. We had to put garbage outside and ask for towels. Unacceptable. We will not be staying there nor recommending this hotel.
-
Dirt around whole room baseboards. Spider in bathtub. Bathtub had peeling.
-
We chose this hotel for its central location. It was an easy walk around the town to dining. We ate several nights at the restaurants in Keystone and were very happy with the selections and our dinner choices. We were very close to Mt. Rushmore, and Custer State Park, Wildlife Loop, Hill City and not far from Rapid City. We loved it here!!
-
Carpeting needed replacing. Would recommend that all patrons wear shoes in the breakfast area.
-
Was affordable for last minute booking.
-
The breakfast buffet left much to be desired. Same foods everyday and not much selection for people who cannot eat flour or gluten. We purposely booked a room with a kitchen, but there were no plates, minimal eating utensils and no pots or pans. the burners were dirty, the stove smoked, and the stove fan didn't work. The AC barely worked, and we had to open the door to fool the room.

Enjoyed the hot tub especially after a long day of hiking. Beds were on the hard side and could use some updating.
-
Room was cramped and parking was limited. Forced to go up extremely steep ramp to another floor for parking.
-
Great location but small rooms
-
Clean and a decent breakfast although the coffee machine was out of order that day.
-
The ramp to the 2nd floor was very steep.

parked close to office, great location to walk to shops and restraunts. Asked for a view ahead of time. Received 1st floor, no view (like in a cave) and was woken up several times by rock or something hitting window.
