This was our first time staying and we really enjoyed it!! The evening girl at front desk was very friendly and helpful. We used the laundry and pool, both were clean. We also ate the breakfast one morning and it was very good!! The young lady preparing it was excellent at what she does!! Great experience!! Thank you!

Rooms were spacious and bed was very comfortable. Staff was very accommodating and polite. We stayed four nights and location was perfect to travel to numerous sights in the black hills region. Breakfast did have limited selection but enough to get a start on the day. Hot tub was enjoyable except for all the foam… may need to be tended to more often. Great shower and good pressure….recommend getting pumps for shampoo/conditioner and body wash.

Very rustic, clean & comfortable. Exactly what a mountain hotel should be. Family friendly rooms, nice pool & great breakfast. I would highly recommend.
-
Very nice staff at the front desk. Great rooms that were nice and clean. Not the greatest view from the suite. Just a rock wall. Nice location within walking distance to restaurants and coffee shops.

Very spacious rooms! Helpful, friendly staff. Breakfast was okay—the usual, basics—scrambled eggs, sausage, oatmeal, dry cereal, yogurt, etc. There was a laundry facility but we did not have opportunity to use it. Parking was okay. Our only complaint was the musty, moldy smell toward the back end of the hotel, near the pool. The hotel did accommodate us by changing rooms for us. The hotel is less than 5 minutes from the MT. Rushmore Monument. Dahl’s Chainsaw Art is just up the street and definitely worth a visit!

Staff was good

This property is a clean nice place to stay while visiting Rushmore. Great location. Eat before you get there as there is very few restaurants in town and shops close early in off season. Breakfast had some hot options with basic variety.

Breakfast rather dismal Room was clean and bed was comfy
-
Drain in sink ran slow. Staff was great and helpful!

Good location. Clean rooms.

Spacious room
-
The sink was clogged and ran very slow. The bed was obviously aged and way too soft. The heating cooling unit in the wall sounded like a jet engine running at nigh. it was so loud. Definitely not a high-end Hotel.

Quick check in. Pool area was great! We stayed in the family suite and it was so nice to have our whole family stay in the same room!
-
The hotel was clean and bed was comfortable. But it needs updating. The tub has a good size patch in it. The ceiling shows areas of fairly substantial leaks. We didn’t have the breakfast or use the pool.

The room was clean, although dated. The breakfast was OK.

We had a great experience staying at this hotel.

We liked our stay here. The reception staff were super friendly and helpful. We ended up in a family suite that was more room than we needed, but it was nice to spread out. This hotel has interior and exterior entrances to rooms, ours was exterior and we were able to park right in front of our door which was nice. We enjoyed the hot tub, although it was on the hotter end of comfortable. The location is great for visiting Mount Rushmore and Custer State Park in the Black Hills. As well as being close to stores and restaurants in Keystone. We would stay here again.
