We reserved the family suite and it had a nice sized living room to relax in, plus a private balcony that overlooked the street. The free breakfast was very good as well with a good selection of items to choose from. Good coffee too!

Cons: parking was sometimes difficult; smoking in common exterior areas and entryway. Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much. The price point was good for the location and I would recommend this hotel.

Bathroom small, dated. Group Squeeze bottles for shampoo, soap , etc. COFFEE 24 /7 downstairs--machine. Free breakfast. Tight parking lot. Staff at desk very pleasant. Stuff in need of repair...maid staff doesn't seem to communicate with mgt. Centrally located. Walking around difficult due to Steep areas, traffic...but sidewalks in town around Shops are ok. Lots of casual cafes restaurants, POWDER house Lodge Restaurant excellent food!

Very nice room. Great breakfast. The front desk manager Renee was very helpful. Room was really nice. Only complaint was the bed was way too soft. They need new mattress.

A little tired. Paint peeling in bathroom. Deep step down into jetted tub to use shower. Lumpy mattress.

The property is very unique... everything is designed around Teddy Roosevelt. As you walk down the halls there's many quotes on the walls. In the room was a Teddy bear on the bed...you can also purchase one! Breakfast was changed up every morning. We had an excellent week long stay!

Excellent location to Mt Rushmore, Custer Park. Room was nice, coffee maker in room would be nice. Breakfast has real plates, silverware & ceramic coffee cups. You can ask for to go coffee cups.

The Roosevelt Inn is a charming place to stay. I thoroughly enjoyed all the Teddy Roosevelt quotes and anecdotes posted throughout the inn. The staff was welcoming and breakfast was delicious. A big bonus is that the inn is very close to Mt Rushmore. Great stay!

Small rooms, tight quarters, breakfast room was far to small for the # of guests, not enough parking area, too few carts for bringing in bags etc., an elevator that must have been a carry over from the original gold discovery days. my key worked sometimes/sometimes not

Loved the location and the warm welcome we got from the lady at the front desk. The room was nice, comfortable and cute.
