Nice boutique hotel right by the water. Enjoyed the pool and hot tub as well!
-
Great location, expensive, but reasonable for the location. Only negatives are that the pool and hot tub are very small, and some things not stocked well in the room (1 coffee pod). Staff was kind, courteous and helpful.

We loved this place. Such a cool vibe. Very clean. Super helpful staff who lent us chairs and umbrellas for the beach. I’d definitely stay here again.

We have stayed at Laguna Beach House a few times over the years due to its location and price. We will not be staying here again as their management has changed to a nickel/dime hidden cost operation. First off was the $60/night parking fee during checkin. We elected to park elsewhere. Then at checkout we had a $39 charge added for the evening happy hour drinks which we did not participate in. This was not disclosed to us at checkin. Fortunately, after some debate, the reception desk agreed to reverse those charges. Had I known all this upfront I would have stayed at a higher price point resort as their 'hidden costs' bumped them up from a reasonable priced hotel to an expensive hotel.

Clean, cute, easy to access beach and restaurants!

Great staff, clean room, nice outdoor sitting areas.

The location is great, the staff are super friendly. Easy to come and go. The beds were very comfortable. Didn't like the unexpected ' amenities fee ' of $35 a night for wifi, cookies and room tidy. The property is pretty pricey for what you get but adding additional fees without knowing isn't the best. It was also $60 a night for parking which is pretty up there. The walls are very thin and you could hear everyone above you, there were also a few ants of the coffee station

Booked this hotel on a whim and boy did we make the best decision! It’s a little further away from the action but just a short walk to get there. We had a coastal view which was perfect. The room had a cute patio and another table out front to sit as well. The hotel provided beach chairs and towels and the beach is just a short walk away. Heisler Park is directly behind the hotel. The pool area looked small, but was absolutely perfect for relaxing. This was a perfect stay…we hope to come back!

Staff was great. The property is well located. Rooms are well appointed, but could use a renovation.

Such a great little beach hotel with a nice surf vibe. The location was excellent with easy access to the beach. Staff had good local recommendations. Special thanks to Pam at the reception desk. She was stellar. Friendly, comfortable place. Would recommend.

Disappointing

This hotel is nothing short of a miracle in disguised. All from the obvious to the little details, this place was helpful to the max! Being right between Newport and Laguna, all the way to efficient parking, I couldn’t help but breathe a sigh of relief. The room was not only gorgeous, but safe as it is also useful with a mini fridge. I will 100% stay here again!

This hotel is clean and bright and reminds me of a beach house right down to the surf boards in the lobby and wine hour in the evening. Very nice place to stay!!!

This is a great location. Short walk to the beach. The bed was the most comfortable bed we have ever stayed in. Quiet and refreshing place to decompress for sure
-
Location is excellent. It is close to the beach and public transportation. The front staff was very accomodating, helpful, efficient and friendly. The grounds are well maintained, I felt compelled to personally comment this to the staff.

No ocean view. They mis advertised

Great, casual, boutique hotel—friendly, helpful staff. Close to beach and town

Great!!
-
Great close in to main beach walkable location. I excited about the down comforter in the room, also a nice selection of for purchase snacks/drinks in the room. Staff customer service was hit and miss. Came in late the first night to check in after a day of travel and the front desk guy acted annoyed and unfriendly. The property and rooms can use a deeper cleaning and a bit of a refresh. I wish the hot tub open was until at least 11pm. I can’t believe they also charge $60 a night for parking…that’s pretty much nightly valet at a five star hotel.

Everything there is perfect ,clean, comfy, easy to get around, beds soft, lots of storage space, friendly and great cookies and coffee.
