Quality Suites Lake Wright - Norfolk Airport

The staff person rendered true customer service. Unfortunately, I was in town for a funeral. I previously stated this property in 2020 when my twin passed away when we went to check in our room, this time there was some mold from the front to the back of the room we left immediately after checking in and going back past the front desk to get refunded. After expressing our concerns and asking if the rooms have been checked before actually allowing customers to check in, it was just best for us to leave, as it was a holiday weekend, an emotional weekend and very late at night. We drove back to Georgia.

Location was Great to Family location It seemed it was More than just a Hotel

Convenient location, allows pets Very run down, lots of things need replacing. The room was relatively clean, but smelled of old smoke and everything was just old and broken down. The pull out couch was terrible. The A/C didn’t cool off the sitting area where our kids slept on the pull out. All the doors in the building slam loudly which is very disruptive. Only one elevator works and very slowly. The pool water was too murky to swim in. Staff was ok, we didn’t need much during our stay. Housekeeping rushed us out starting at 9:30am (check out at 11). Breakfast buffet was fair.

Free breakfast ,spacious room. clean so far. some restaurants nearby , just next to the hotel. 12 min from airport I think via grab. Has menu option in room to order food and hot sandwiches drinks/cocktails /beer. snacks 24 hours open in the lobby . breakfast fair from 0600-0900 time. The only thing is we noticed the breakfast , staff were already starting to remove even before the time at 0855. Smells cigarette especially weeds along the hallway. Though non smokingarea.

Loved how clean the room was and also the bar was amazing and ate breakfast and it was amazing. Booked and paid for the room . Charged extra $50 dollars also . Booked this hotel for the indoor pool and all weekend the pool was closed until Monday morning . Not what I wanted or expected.

DO NOT STAY IN THIS HOTEL!!!!

The staff was absolutely superb!! They were all polite and professional and respectful. They are what kept us from moving. We loved the beds - so very comfortable. The couch in the suite area was an absolute disaster! It was well passed its service life. The right armrest had a terrible rip and the stuffing was coming out. When you sat in it you sank nearly to the floor. The chair was worn but serviceable but it too had a rip around the right front foot. All the furniture should be replaced. There were no usable USB ports - that is a sacrilege in this day and age. Finally, I had to take the lid of the commode tank and manipulate the flush valve twice to get it to work. We managed to sleep but it was serviceable at least. Again - the staff was absolutely superb and they worked hard to help us. You should give them a huge raise and get rid of your furniture!! They were all AAA Plus’s !!!!!!!!!!!

Has a front and a back room for good prices The fire alarm went off the minute we got in the room, for 20 minutes it took for them to come turn it off, it was a friend of mine who was the one who Set It Off, he didn't know any better, but they extorted him out of $100 for it. Then put me on the do not rent list anymore and did not tell me until 11:00 the next morning when I was trying to renew the room. They did not give me my deposit back, after they took the $100 cash from my friend and gave him no receipt. There was nothing wrong with the smoke detector after they turned it off and there was nothing wrong with the room when I left.
