Hampton Inn Omaha/West Dodge Road (Old Mill)

The vacuum cleaner must not go to the edges because there was a thick dust buildup around the room. Breakfast was very good, ready on time. But we never saw anyone maintaining it. The rooms need an update badly!

Morning staff was not attentive to the waiting customers at the desk. Not sure where they were at 8am when I was trying to check out.

I'm recovering from an injury and stayed in one of the accessible rooms offered by the property. The layout of the bathroom was planned around convenience, comfort, and safety, and the main room was spacious and navigable. (Do note that the bath area has a tub rather than a wheelchair accessible open shower, but there is a drop-down seat and multiple grab bars.) The bed was at a good height and extremely comfortable, and there was ample good lighting. I would also like to remark on the friendliness and efficiency of all the staff, from the front desk (thank you, Melanie!), to housekeeping, to the the people who provided the breakfast (which itself was excellent). There was also a good selection of snacks for purchase, including microwaveable frozen foods for late night travelers and midnight snack seekers. It was a great place to stay!

Situated closely to I680 and I80 Interstates for expedient travel. Multiple shopping and dining locations located close by. The breakfast was the best I've had at any accommodations I've stayed at. Pet friendly. Located in a quiet area. Bed was comfortable and the room was spotless. Some of the parking areas are further away from the building and the lighting is quite a bit dimmer.

The AC/heating unit was very loud. Potential to disturb sleep. Had to completely shut the unit off which in turn the room was very hot & stuffy.

Most comfortable bed I’ve slept on in a long time.

I called at noon of the day we were to arrive to ask a few questions such as room amenities and whether they had gluten free items on the breakfast buffet as my spouse has celiac. I also wanted to let them know that we would not be arriving until 10pm and to not give our room away (we had prepaid but I did not want any issues). They assured me that they would not give away our room until midnight to one am. When we arrived after a 6 hour drive, they had indeed given our room away and the front desk was dumb-founded as to what to do and had to call the manager (who didn't answer) to see what to do. After quite a wait while they kept trying to call the manager, another guest called to cancel their room and they gave us that one. While waiting, I noticed the shabby, torn carpet that was inset in front of the welcome desk. The luggage cart wobbled. The hallways had no ac on and were hot. The first night the room ac worked. The shower temperature took forever to get warm and the sink never did get warm. The second night the ac barely worked in the room and kept us from sleeping well, When we checked out, they asked how our stay was and I explained about the ac. They apologized but, made no effort to refund any cost or to extend another courtesy on a future trip. I will not be staying here again.

The gentleman at the front desk was wonderful and very helpful. The property, room and breakfast were great.

There are way better places to stay.

The bathroom had scuffs or dirt on the side of the tub and the walls near the toilet were pretty dirty. Otherwise the room was clean and well kept. The staff at check in was pleasant, but the breakfast staff was not. I was lectured about keeping the lids down on the buffet items (neither my teen nor I were the ones who left the lid open). I was spoken to harshly and told “that’s how the food is kept hot”. Then the lid was loudly slammed down. I don’t particularly like starting my day with a rude lecture, especially when I’m a paying guest at a a hotel.

Location to my work Rooms should be inspected on a daily or weekly basis. I had to go down to the desk twice to get a room that had no issues. What surprises me the most you have people cleaning the rooms and no one says anything the AC is chirping or the main door to the room is hard to open and once open does not close.

I’ll certainly think twice about booking this hotel chain again. Evidently, what you reserve means nothing to them.

Coffee machine in the room did not work

Breakfast was okay serving tray was empty no potatoes or meat Breakfast there was only cheese omelette in serving trays could have some bacon and potatoes the lady filling the breakfast was very unfriendly almost rude

This made fouls it ok not to be at the desk but in the dark in the eating area on her phone. Fire her Sub pat hotel won’t stay the again
