This was a very nice hotel, however my stay was blemished by unhelpful staff! The purpose for my stay in Portsmouth was to attend a formal wedding. As soon as I checked in I noted that the full length mirror in the room was removed. I called down to request assistance - I needed that mirror to get ready. The person at the front desk told me they would inform maintenance

Our rooms were super clean and smelled fresh. Patio is wonderful in the morning, great view of the island Shoales ferry coming and going. Club breakfast was lovely. Staff was helpful and available.

Great stay, lovely hotel. Just wish they’d have water dispensers like other hotels, to more easily refill your water bottles.

valet car service was a plus with the use of text messaging This is a small issue but a bit annoying. People next door had a dog and small child so the noise level was high in the early hours. Also, the fitted sheet would ride up at my feet because it wasn't put on correctly or it was worn out and needed to be discarded

I took my husband away for his 60th bday. We have stayed at this location previously, without concerns. However, this trip the AC unit in-the room made a vibration we could not stop. My poor husband didn’t sleep AT ALL due to the vibrations throughout the night. It was too warm to shut the AC off altogether. I did mention it to the staff as we checked out, probably shouldn’t rent out that room before it is fixed. They took may name and number, but I have never heard a word. Very disappointing. Felt super bad for my husband. See above

Difficulty in using the gift card Room did not contain a table. Other rooms on the floor did contain one. We asked for one to be added to the room but it was not.
