Everything was fantastic!! We have stayed at the Hotel Portsmouth for years and it has only gotten better. The staff is wonderful, they made us feel so at home. We even got to bring our dog this year and she was also treated like family! The addition of the downstairs bar is awesome, my husband and his dad had a blast playing billiards and we enjoyed getting to know some fellow travelers. Loved every minute of our time in Portsmouth!! Thanks for everything!

Room was ok but difficult to open cases and not trip over them. Strange fabric covered frame around the bed mattress so you bump into it…unnecessary design. Whole vibe is very cluttered and olde world with lots of outdated and dust gathered ornaments… No real help at breakfast and it wasn’t very appealing. Yoghurt was put in bowls individually and had watery residue around it. Basic ‘packet’ bread, no hot egg offering as experienced in other lark hotels. Parking was free & plentiful. Easy to walk into town.

The hotel was located close to many the down town Market area and other attractions.

What a fun hotel! It felt like we stepped into a movie, the decor is so spectacular. It's an easy walk to amazing restaurants and shops. It was very quiet, safe and cozy. We really enjoyed our visit and would definitely return.

Funky hotel. Hard to navigate inside. Room was small and the wide bed frame took up even more space. Unique stay. Easily walkable to town. European style breakfast.

We stayed at Hotel Portsmouth for 4 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our time. The ambience of the hotel was both relaxed and upscale at the same time. Our room was charming and the bed so comfortable we had 4 nights of great sleep! The staff was attentive and accommodating.The breakfasts were yummy.

If you're used to a fully staffed hotel it may not be for you but I was perfectly fine with not having a bunch of staff available. Easy walk into town.

Great location. We arrived early and were able to park in the hotel’s lot so we could get out and walk around. Friendly staff, nice breakfast. Would return to stay again.
