Adequate lodging. Decent room. Plenty of parking. Below-average breakfast. Pricey for what was offered.

Place was real clean and the check in fella was real cool will stay there again Only bad thing was the room was up stairs made it hard to leave and return

Overall, our stay was pleasant. They were doing construction in the top parking area, so it was a little inconvenient. Also, they asked if we could leave before our reservation was over because they needed to resurface the walkway. That was inconvenient. It would have been nice if they found us a place to stay, but they didn't. We had to cut our trip short. Still waiting for the refund to show up. Also, they did not inform us at the time of check-in that the cleaning of the room was at our request. So for two days we were wondering why they didn't clean our room. The continental breakfast could have been better.

Everything except the leak in room that couldn't be repaired and No offer to move or discount stay Disconcerting water leak issue

I was traveling alone, but I was assigned a spacious and clean room with two beds, which made my stay very comfortable. Shampoo and body wash were provided, but the conditioner bottle was empty. Also, the bedside light on the aisle-side bed kept turning on and off by itself. I am not sure if it was a wiring issue, but it was strange and should probably be checked. When I parked, I asked a housekeeping staff member nearby where the office was. I also briefly spoke with different staff members during check-in and check-out. Everyone I interacted with was polite and handled things appropriately. The parking lot was not crowded, possibly because the hotel was not fully booked. Even though I arrived late, I was able to find a parking space easily, which was convenient. Breakfast was served in the same area as the office. I went around 6:30 a.m., but there was no yogurt or hard-boiled eggs. I only had toast with jam, two small pastries, and coffee. Cereal and waffles were also available, but I was not interested in them. Considering the rising cost of food, having complimentary breakfast is better than nothing, but I personally would not recommend it.

It's a good accomodation specially for young people, reasonable price, a grab and go type of breakfast, with a close bus station 232. It has the vibe of a youth hostel but rooms are clean and renovated. It is a clean place to sleep and take shower, the staff are helpful and respectful.

location

The only thing positive is the location. Nothing else. Sadly this hotel needs some serious work. I understand it was relatively cheap ($200 for 2 nights) but the entire place is filthy. The room was so gross I went to Walmart and bought cleaning supplies. We stayed for 2 nights. The room was filthy, the furniture badly stained and I’ve woken up full of bites on the first night so for the second I bought a sleeping Staff were rude and unhelpful, and the man who checked me out this morning was blunt and rude. For the reasons above we didn’t have “breakfast” but it’s basically sat in the reception next to the desk anyway. Would not recommend this place nor would I ever stay again if I ever find myself in USA again.

ant infested room and front desk guy didn't care or do anything about it

There is underground parking at the motel; however, it appears if every room is booked it might not be enough. Parking in that lower-level means walking up a steep ramp or taking a set of stairs. It's something to keep in mind if you have mobility or lifting issues. Along the same line, there are two levels to the motel and again, steps up to the second story could be a challenge for some guests. Our room's decor matched the photos online. However, those images don't give a true assessment of the room's size. The king bed takes up a great deal of space. The bathroom itself is TINY. Opening the door to the bathroom completely means access to the sink is forfeited. The tub was as clean as housekeeping could make it, but it needs a refresh. The door, baseboards, and caulking needed upgrading or the deepest clean possible. That seemed to be the case throughout the room -- the baseboards, lower areas of the walls and casing around the doorway all needed significant cleaning or refreshing. It made the whole room feel on the dingy side. However, the bed linens were clean with no stains at all, and the mattress was firm. Shutters on the windows did not maintain the angle set. Overall, for a low-cost motel near the ocean, this place will do. Just keep your expectations in check.

only location it’s a motel. the sheets were stained on both of the beds. everything was old and poor - floor, doors, bathroom… breakfast is not tasty

Great area and great staff. Parking was a little tricky. It is underground so check height of your vehicle.
-
Right off the PCH, garaged parking, no elevators, nice rooms, not right on the beach as described.
-
It was 5 minutes driving distance to the pier. Walking is doable too. Nice neighborhood and great restaurants in any direction. The parking isn't my cup of tea. When I would leave the property the front end of my car kept scraping. Other than that its a nice place to stay.
-
Sensible pricing Proximity to the beach and pier Car park access. Understandable though as an upper level was being refurbished

I have stayed in Turkish prisons nice than this place. The pictures do not represent a true picture of this “hotel”. The rooms are old, there were places in the wall with spackle. Not sanded or painted. The water pressure was non existent, but plenty of hot water. Housekeeping never cleaned our room. Seven days. We had to ask for fresh towels twice. The free breakfast is cereal and low budget pastries like you buy at the gas station. The shutters were broke in the window. Not there was much to see outside. A sad patio. Very disappointing. I considered canceling the day I got there but I would have only gotten a partial refund. The tv guide didn’t tell you what was on so you just had to flip through and hope for the best. Although the tv was nice. The carousel in the microwave did not turn. The chair in the room looked like something left out on trash day. Would not stay here again nor recommend to anyone unless I hated them. Plus there was construction and they had sheets of plastic separating the door of your room and the parking lot. The underground parking was hard to turn into as the above ground parking was blocked. The construction ended the day we left. My partner felt the underground parking was creepy but that’s more his issue than the hotels. So if underground parking freaks you out park above now that it’s re surfaced. But like I said that’s really not a hotel issue.

I liked where the property was located They need blinds on the windows. I was kept up due to the lights coming in my window

Very good

It was definitely "Limited", small rooms, appears to have been in stages of remodeling inside and out. The courtyard was getting the floor epoxied/repaired, so access was very limited, strong smell from the epoxy, plastic draped all around the courtyard. The price was appropriate for what you get. Short walk to Redondo Pier and shops/restaurants make it a good selection. No frills, but does the job as far as a place to sleep and take a shower. Breakfast is very limited too.
