Sonesta Redondo Beach & Marina

We liked the location which offers a wonderful opportunity to walk around the area and restaurants. We liked the on site restaurants, bar, and room service. Parking fee.

The location near the Beachfront promenade. The staff were verk kind and service-oriented. The pool was undergoing renovations, and we weren't informed about it in advanced.

Pool was under construction other than that it was very lovely

Very upset that not only the pool was closed but also their deck, so the option was to be taken to a nearby hotel with a extremely small pool and deck. Very disappointed as we had been in the hotel before and one of reason for booking Sonesta was the pool.

The lobby smelt & looked very amazing… as well as the staff!! So kind informing me about to pool situation, parking, restaurant and so on’….I’ve never left a review in my life but as soon as I got to the room it wasn’t a good experience for me. The sink and shower looked like there was dirt that backed up & kept gurgling probably old pipes. Had to kill 2 mosquitoes.. photo & video to show… still have yet to get my deposit back.

Very nice resort, close to the beach, comfortable room. The hotel requires a slight renovation.

Great stay

The front desk manager Joe went above and beyond to accommodate us. He made sure that we were comfortable despite the temporary closure of their pool. Sol restaurant offered fresh breakfast selections too. Lupe must also he recognized for her cheerfulness.

One the best hotels we have stayed at this whole year… the location was amazing.. on the marina in Redondo Beach… beautiful view and beaches.. the pier was walking distance.. with lots of places to explore and enjoy… lots of good places to eat.. the hotel was beautiful inside and out.. with comfortable places to relax.. the room was clean and comfortable.. we really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful hotel…we will definitely be staying there again…

Very nice staff and a great location. We had an ocean view room and it was beautiful. The property itself is very run down. The elevator from the garage to the first floor shakes and feels like it’s going to crash to the ground, the sinks have a smell and the showers are slightly sloped and drain slowly. But I’ll still stay here because the location is fabulous, the staff are incredibly nice and helpful, and it’s more affordable that the other surrounding hotels.

Impossible to communicate with staff and get a straight answer.

Very clean hotel with a fresh fragrance throughout. The pool was down for renovation but arrangements were made to be shuttled to a nearby hotel pool. Worked out well.
