This is a historic hotel. That means it's been around for awhile. The outside property was looking a bit sad. They had a couple nice outdoor seating areas but some of the chairs looked rough. The room had some updating that had been done and was ok. The shower was nice. The room was clean. The breakfast was pretty good. The location was great. The trolley stopped right on the property. It was only about a mile down to the historic district. We walked down there a few times.

The room was large and had good air conditioning. Beds were comfortable. Cleanliness and maintenance was another issue. Seems like the floor hadn't been mopped in awhile, towel bar hanging from one screw in the bathroom and walls were dirty. Included continental breakfast was very limited. Pool could have used a good cleaning.

Proximity to downtown Room dirty needed upgrade

Location, free parking I’ve stayed at this hotel before a year ago and it wasn’t bad. The hotel definitely needs an upgrade. The room was okay. When I first walked in it was humid. The leather chair in the corner was ripped. The nightstand in the middle and the shelves above it were dirty. The sink in the bathroom was slow to drain. I didn’t have time to ask for another room and I wasn’t in it much anyway.

The location was good The maid service came at 7pm to clean the room. Should have been in the morning. The breakfast could have been better.

Room wasnt ready at check in. Even if it was just the fact that the remote didnt work, it wasnt ready for check in. I cant pay with some of my funds broken. There was an ant and roach infestation. At over a $100 a night i should fight insects. We got towels but room never got cleaned once in a 4 night stay. Staff is nice but the property itself sucks.

Breakfest was good but closed at 9:30 . Had to go and ask for fresh towels daily. It’s an older hotel so it’s par with others I’ve stayed in at Key West for example

The room was clean but they pictures is not what the hotel looks like it is a older hotel and they are trying to remodel but if you go by the photos you will be disappointed other wise it is located close to everything

We stayed here before and there was no complaints about it. This stay the outlets around the beds wouldn’t hold our chargers in the outlets and they didn’t work if we held them in the outlets, we thought our chargers stopped working. There was a couple of dead roaches in the room and a couple of the pillows had blood on them

The location I got the family suite and the chairs were ripped and the table was broken
-
the location was great, we were able to walk to nearly every attraction we wanted to see. The breakfast was nothing that we could eat, my husband is gluten sensitive. The room had tile floors that were gritty and needed a rug or something near the bed, so sand and grit did not get into the bed with you. The shower floor was grimy with dark mold or stains on the tile seams. A little scrub brush could have fixed that! Furniture was old and stained. Headboard was slotted metal and it was rusty and grimy.

This is our second time staying here when we came up to see shows at The Amp. Very helpful front desk. We added a night and were able to keep the room we were in even though we got a free upgrade to begin with. Nice pool. Good coffee. Great location. Super walkable.

The room was exceptionally large and was more of a suite than a room. It was very clean and nicely appointed, and had a few nice features. There was a second sink outside of the bathroom and a fold out bed in the couch. We've traveled a lot and found that for the money this was a very good deal.
