What a beautiful hotel, right in the middle of town. Parking is $45 a night and there was no mention before we arrived.

Beautiful property

I had some difficulty figuring out how to get to the hotel as there are many "Do Not Enter" signs around the streets leading to it. When I mentioned this the manager he discounted our parking. Breakfast was still being served when we arrived and he invited us to partake. This Continental breakfast was very good with many hot/cold items to choose from. However the next day's breakfast was even better with smoked salmon as one of the offerings. The room was more spacious than most we've seen for the same or more money and had individual climate controls. The bed was very comfortable and the bath was also roomy and well appointed with personal amenities. All the staff was very pleasanrt, polite, and helpful. Upon leaving we discovered that we had forgotten a cell phone in the room. Housekeeping had already brought it to the front desk and they arranged its return by mail when we called. I can't really come up with much of anything that needs to be changed. For Vail it is, hands down, the best place we have stayed at and is easily worth what we paid when compared to the many other hotels we have tried over the years.

Austria House was absolutely amazing!! The gentlemen who checked us in was so kind and helpful! The rooms are so beautiful, as is the whole property! I can't wait to stay here again!

A special thank you to Valentina at the front desk, who was truly amazing. Unfortunately, I became very sick during my stay due to food poisoning unrelated to the hotel and ended up needing to go to the hospital. Valentina went above and beyond to help me in every way she could and was incredibly kind, understanding, and accommodating during a really difficult situation. Her level of care genuinely made such a difference. Despite getting sick, I really enjoyed my stay and would absolutely come back. Beautiful location, comfortable rooms, wonderful atmosphere, and exceptional service. Thank you again, Valentina!

Excellent breakfast and facilities. Nice balcony. Road noise if the balcony door was open from highway on our side of the hotel.

Very comfortable and quiet. All staff were super nice. The free breakfast could have been better but it was free so we were happy with that. Such a quaint hotel. Just what we were looking for!

Wonderful location. Check in was easy and the room was ready early. Room was so spacious. Clean, but a little worn. Bed was very comfortable. We were there during a heat wave and the air conditioner was a wall unit in the sitting area. Bathroom was spacious. Water pressure was okay. Breakfast was fair. Usual fare.

Wonderful staff and excellent location. A bit dated inside but very clean. We will stay here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed the property, especially the pool and balcony. Breakfast being included was an added convenience. Our car was ready for us upon our departure. Staff took time to have sincere conversations with us. The air conditioning wasn’t cool enough. We did open the sliding door for the night.
