We stayed in the summertime for a short stay after our wedding, and the staff truly made the stay special. The pool area is along the creek and is an incredibly serene and relaxing setting. We loved everything about the Sonnenalp - highly recommend!

Beautiful property including the great staff, lovely pool and workout spaces but for our stay would have not preferred the more cozy ceiling height of the bedroom. We are not tall either. Perhaps a standard room for next season.

Exceptional stay. We can’t wait to return. Next time we would love to bring our children - we observed that the resort delivered an extraordinary luxury experience for families.

Sonnenalp never disappoints. My fave property in the Vail Valley bar none. Exquisite attention to detail everywhere, fantastic food and beverage and phenomenal location! Bravo!!

The staff was incredibly friendly and the service was excellent. The turndown service was unexpected but we enjoyed it. We enjoyed the brunch on Sunday morning as well.

The resort is at the river and in the town. They provide a warm welcome with a valet service for the car. The staff is very helpful. The breakfast buffet is extraordinary. You have always fresh water bottles in the room. For lunch and dinner, the bully ranch is more than an option. Ideal for some days of relaxation with a in- and outdoor pool, jacuzzis, gym and sauna.

I highly recommend this hotel and I will absolutely be returning.

Great hotel with great location and so clean!!!

The room was very large with a long balcony. Very large bathrooms which were fine. Sunday brunch is one of the best. Music in the bar lively and fun. The rooms are very dated , old and dinghy. Beds are horrible, the king was so worn we slept in separate queens. My husband could hardly walk the next morning and I was very stiff. Bully restaurant took forever to get us a hamburger which was raw. Bar service was very slow too.

We have always enjoyed your breakfast buffet, but believe it is overpriced. Loved all the amenities in the bathroom. Pool area is a favorite. Lovely flowers everywhere. Excellent chicken wings. Only bathrooms outside of room was in the basement. Did find one in the pool area, however. Overpriced breakfast buffet.

Spa and pool day was very relaxing.

Excellent location. The breakfast buffet was really good, with a lovely view. The staff were always courteous and helpful. The room was very nice and comfortable.

Spa area open to all. Incredible selection at breakfast buffet, though some of dishes were not kept hot. Reasonably priced for an upscale property on a high-value real estate property.
