Four Points by Sheraton Anchorage Downtown

The area in general was horrible. There was a person passed out in the parking lot one morning of my stay. The entire time I was staying there someone had parked an ambulance in the parking lot taking up 3 spaces! This ambulance didn't even respond to the person passed out in the parking lot so not sure what the purpose of it being there was. There was never enough parking for patron's that paid to have a place to park next to our hotel. The attention of the staff made up for the atrocious parking availability but still not a place I will ever revisit for work and definitely not for pleasure. Bad part of town. I will go Mid-town or further south in Anchorage closer to the Airport next time.

Stayed for 3 nights.. Rooms weren't clean for the standards of Marriott... Bed spread wasn't changed and it had stains. The bathroom had hair from previous guests. It wasn't sanitized either. Will not go back. Breakfast didn't have any fruits.

Unfortunately the tv in bedroom did not work. Apparently they were aware of the problem and still put us in that room. By the time we realized it, there were no other rooms available. broken tv

Overall ,I paid good money for the location. May not be worth it. Taking an Uber to where I need to go instead and staying at a nicer hotel may have been smarter. 😁

Very clean and nicely decorated. The mattress could be firmer.

Friendly and helpful staff. Facility was clean and had all amentiies we needed. Location was ideal all within walking distance to Anchorage Downtown core. Overall a great property and will not hesitate to book same when i visit Anchorage again. Parking can be difficult at peak. Luckily the staff member went above and beyond to give her parking spot to me. Thank you for doing this. Additional parking would be beneficial. Free breakfast was reasonable but i wish they offer bread.

They provided a basic breakfast if you sign up to be a Marriot member. We thought the hotel was very ordinary for the price we paid for it. Room was very basic. No character.

Did not meet expectations. The lobby has a scuffed concrete floor and dilapidated furniture. The 'bar/lounge' and 'restaurant' turned out to be the breakfast room, usually with lights turned off. Unwelcoming. The pantry was completely sold out. Rooms were ok, but painted dark colors.

Taxi driver got confused because I said Sheraton instead I’d Four Points. Ran up taxi bill a bit. It was fine for overnight stop.

High prices for what was offered

The room was clean and the staff couldn’t have been nicer. But the hotel seemed dated and I wasn’t a fan of the layout of the room. As you walk inside, there’s a small living space. The beds are in the back with the bathroom in the middle. The lavatory is outside the bathroom so it’s in the middle of the room
