Drury Inn & Suites Memphis Southaven

We had a room facing a very busy road. There is absolutely no soundproofing, so we did not get much sleep.

I would stay here again anytime.

Watre pressure in shower could be better...But it's like that everywhere...

Stayed on the north side of the building next to the highway. Sounded like a drag strip all night long. Building was under construction/remodel so only 1 elevator. Nice big room. Very clean. Bed was comfy.

The staff at Southaven was pleasant but the service was inconsistent. I requested a room refresh each day for our three night stay. That happened the first day we returned to our room, but on the second day when we returned at 7pm, nothing had been done. I did not mention it to the front desk because we were leaving the next morning and there were extra towels, but it would have been nice to have the trash emptied. This property is very convenient to Memphis and we spent two days in the city. There are a lot of conveniences close to the hotel. The hotel is on Goodman Road West and the traffic is EXTREMELY loud and sounded like a drag strip with all the motorcycles and extremely loud pickup trucks. In comparison, Interstate 55 was barely heard even though the hotel is right next to the interchange. This is not the hotel’s fault, but just a heads up that room location might make a difference—we faced Goodman Road and could hear the traffic all night even though we are generally pretty sound sleepers.

Love the hotel will come again.

Working in the area and my husband was very pleased. Pool is his main thing and he didn't get to use it because working, but he definitely liked it. Breakfast was perfect and the evening kickback was just right. Definitely like staying here.

Friendly staff greeted us and told us about the wonderful lite BBQ slider dinner that was complimentary. We had a fabulous stay.

I've been staying at this Drury almost every year since it was a brand new hotel. Among the reasons I keep returning includes that many of the staff have worked here for 20+ years and they are still smiling! It is clean, breakfast offerings are considerable, kickback offers very good food, although a bit repetitive, and free adult beverages. The hot tub was improved in its' function over several prior years. The pool & hot tub close @ 10 pm and should be open much later for adults. That's probably the one biggestthing that I'd change if I could. Also, they could use upgraded pillows. I'll keep coming back and have encouraged friends to stay here as well!
