Wingate by Wyndham Horn Lake Southaven

They cancelled my reservation for no show and then sold my room even though it was prepaid. Hotel was horrible anyway Bugs and mildew

A/C had been turned off in my room so it was 84 degrees when I walked in. However, it cooled off quickly enough once I turned the A/C on. Hotel is newer. My room seemed as if they had rushed to clean it and didn’t have the time to do a very good job. Quiet. Bed seemed hard at first but I slept well and woke up rested.

I was there for a procedure and it was at 8am . After the procedure I needed to lay down and rest. I requested an early check-in. They were able to allow me to check in at 11am about 30 minutes after leaving from the facility

Staff was very helpful, room was clean

This hotel had a old wet mildewed smell . I could not stay the one night I had reserved.

The room smelled very bad. The sink faucet was barely holding on. Ac was leaking water on the floor. Will not stay there again.

Passable

Exceptional

Poor

Convenient close to a lot stores and restaurants

One night stay. Our trash in the bathroom wasn’t emptied at all. It had a used razor in it along with tissue. The shower had shaved hair on the soap dispenser.. when asked for the trash to be change. They stated housekeeping was gone for the evening. and asked if I wanted a trash bag to change the trash.. bad business will not be going back!!

I reserved 2 rooms. Opened my mother in law’s room door and it had the worse smell of an old wet mop and that had been sitting for days. Talked to the receptionist and requested for another room only for my husband to come tell me our room smelled the same. The receptionist said they were booked and it wasn’t anymore rooms available. She then went in the room spraying febreeze to only make it worse. The breakfast sucked it wasn’t anything to choose from. We paid 132 a room and it was not worth it. They need to redo all those rooms and pull that carpet up.

Good

I had a horrible experience while staying at the Wingate hotel in Horn lake. My mom woke up screaming and crying due to being bit by bed bugs and I have pictures of the bit marks and of the bed bugs. There was know shower curtain in the bathroom, I had to go and ask for one to be put up. This was the worst experience I ever had. Don’t stay in room 112.

Superb

Great location, clean, safe. Near Waffle House! A bargain for a nice clean new room.

Nice clean room… great outside view

Terrible

I can say that check in was easy, there was plenty of parking and in a convenient area. Downside…room is not only outdated but my check out was cut very short due to the bed bugs!! I actually notified the front office staff when I seen on crawling across the bed. The front desk clerk came to the room with bug spray and there was another one making its way across the bed. Luckily I didn’t not unpack. I was offered another room but declined and left. I also asked for a manager but of course there wasn’t one on duty. Stay at your own risk but be very careful to not pick up any new friends. I didn’t want money back I just wanted out!
