Frequently asked questions

What should I look for in wedding hotels in Colorado?

A strong wedding hotel offers ample reception and banquet space, enough guest rooms to accommodate out-of-town guests, and facilities like getting-ready suites. The hotels on this list feature ballrooms and event spaces that can host ceremonies and receptions of many sizes, along with on-site lodging so your guests can celebrate and stay under one roof. Amenities like catering, on-site coordination, and setup services vary by property, so check with each hotel directly.

How does billing work when I reserve a block of rooms for my wedding?

Engine offers consolidated invoicing and multiple payment options, so you can manage billing for your room block in one place with no membership fee. For a block of nine or more rooms, Engine Groups handles the booking. For eight rooms or fewer, you book self-serve through the platform.

How far in advance should I book hotel rooms for my wedding guests?

Most couples secure a room block six to twelve months before their wedding date, especially for popular weekends in the spring and fall. Booking early gives your guests more time to arrange travel and locks in pre-negotiated rates. If your big day falls during peak season or a holiday weekend, reach out to the hotel even earlier to ensure availability.

Which parts of Colorado have the most options for wedding venues with on-site lodging?

The Denver metro area, including Aurora, has the largest concentration of hotels with significant event space and guest-room capacity. Mountain resort towns also offer scenic options, though the mix of reception facilities and lodging varies. The hotels on this list span different cities across the state, so you can compare options that fit your vision and guest list.

What amenities can wedding guests expect at these hotels?

Most properties offer parking, wifi, on-site dining, and fitness centers, though specifics vary by hotel. Some also provide airport shuttles or are located near the airport serving Denver, making travel easier for out-of-town guests. Check each hotel's listing on Engine to confirm the amenities that matter most to you and your guests.
